Privacy
Flag Europe is run by Izegem Tribes. We only collect what’s needed to list tournaments and send the emails you ask for.
Who is responsible
Izegem Tribes, Izegem, Belgium. Questions or requests: flageurope@izegemtribes.com.
What we collect and why
- Tournament details you add, including the organiser’s contact name, email address and phone number. We publish these on the tournament page so teams can contact the organiser. You agree to this when you add a tournament.
- Your email address, when you add a tournament, to confirm it, tell you when it’s published and send you a link to edit it.
- Email alerts: if you sign up for an alert, we store your email address and the filters you chose, and only email you after you confirm.
- Your IP address, stored with a tournament you add, only to fight spam.
What we don’t do
- We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie is the sign-in cookie for site administrators.
- We don’t sell or share your data. Emails are sent through our email provider.
- “Near me” uses your location only in your browser to sort tournaments. It is never sent to us.
Maps
Maps are loaded from OpenStreetMap, and the address lookup on the form uses OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service. These services see your IP address when the map loads. See the OpenStreetMap privacy policy.
How long we keep it
- Tournaments stay online, also after they’ve taken place, as an archive. Ask us and we remove the contact details or the whole tournament.
- Email alerts stay active until you unsubscribe with the link in every alert email.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing flageurope@izegemtribes.com. Organisers can change or remove their contact details themselves with their edit link. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
